Prerequisite: Physical Science and Algebra 1 Semester (2 Credits) -

Physics is the study of energy and how it relates to matter. The fields of mechanics, heat, light, sound, magnetism, and electricity are studied using vector algebra and trigonometric functions as needed. This course is designed to prepare students for technical training in a physics related field or for college. Those interested in science majors, engineering, being an electrician, or a lineman should take this class. It also helps in preparing for a medical career.
