The Spring Grove community has a long-standing tradition of supporting public education. We have strong academic, arts, and athletics programs that create well rounded students. We have been fiscally conservative with our spending, and our community has been tremendously generous in supporting operating and building referendums when needed. During the last century, our community had a significant facility update every 30 years: the 1922 school building (rebuilt in 1924 after the school fire), the 1956 elementary and game gym/auditorium additions, and the 1988 media center and practice gym addition.

Over the last few years the District has been having conversations about the need to update and expand our school facilities to better meet the needs of our students and the greater Spring Grove community. Those conversations became a part of the greater community conversation and visioning, now known as Spring Grove 2030. While the important work of Spring Grove 2030 continues, the District has also been working to determine if it is time again, 35 years since the last addition, to ask our community to make a significant investment in our facility.
