Meet Mrs. Bratland Welcome to 1st grade! I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade this year! This is my 35th year as a teacher, and I am excited for the coming year. I grew up in Spring Grove, and am so happy to still call it home, and to work at Spring Grove Public Schools. My husband and I live on a dairy farm, and have 3 daughters. Kaitlin is married to Bobby and they have a beautiful little girl, Lyla Kay Ann, who is such a joy and delight! Kaitlin teaches Special Ed at SGPS with me. Claire lives in Mankato, and is beginning her fourth year of teaching 2nd grade in New Ulm. Kelsey is getting married in October to Wyatt, and they are both student teaching this fall. Yes--we are a family of mostly teachers! In my spare time, I love to read, quilt, and travel. I also love Broadway musicals! My very favorite thing is to spend time with my family!
