Grade: 7 - Required 1 Semester (2 Credits) - Science 7 is study of living systems. The interaction of all organisms with their environment will be studied in the classroom and in the field.

Earth Science in grade 8 is the study of the Earth itself and its place in the universe.

Grade: 11 & 12 - Elective Prerequisite: Biology 1 Semester (2 Credits) - This course is a great elective for anyone interested in going into any area of the health or medical field (e.g. nurse, doctor, physician’s assistant, dietician, physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, dentist, optometrist, veterinarian, sports medicine, coach, trainer, etc.), but is also good for anyone who would like to learn more about how their body works. The course involves lab work, lecture, activities, discussion and projects. Areas studied are biochemistry of the body, cells, tissues, bones, muscles, nerves and the brain, and an overview of the other systems of the body.
