About Me


Welcome Kindergarten families! Here is a little bit about me.
I grew up in La Crescent, MN, where I met my husband, Nicholas. I fell in love with the town of Spring Grove on my very first visit. After seeing my first barn play, I knew I wanted to be a part of this creative and friendly community. Eight years ago, my husband and I were married on his Grandparents' farm in Spring Grove. I had my heart set on making Spring Grove our home and was fortunate enough to get a job here teaching 2nd Grade.
This is my 10th year teaching in Spring Grove. I have taught 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, Kindergarten, K1, and now K12!
In April 2014, Nicholas and I were blessed with our first child, Lillian. She is growing fast and always keeps me on my toes! In May of 2017, we were blessed again with the birth of our sweet little guy William. He is such a good little boy and we all love to snuggle and give him kisses, especially his big sister!
 In my free time, I enjoy doing anything crafty. I love spending time with Lilly, William, and Nicholas. We love to travel, watch movies, and spend time together outside.
My goal is to create a classroom where your child will feel comfortable, respected, safe, and CREATIVE! I try my best to provide an education where each child's needs are met and opinions are valued.
